On a camping trip to a little stream at the foot of Mt. Hood we reveled in the the beauty of the cold, pure water that is snow pack running off of Mt. Hood. But, at the same time, we were alarmed to find the mountain naked of snow this early in the season, (July of 2021). In light of that, it amazed us that the stream was still so full of gushing water. When I get out into nature and experience these things it is astonishing to realize just how much I take for granted, try as I might not to do so. Capturing this beauty in a manner that is fresh and honest knowing many have done so before me, is a challenge. One that all photographers face these days. I hope you enjoy what caught my eye. These images reflect the essence of this majestic mountain to me.
